About OHMS Architects — What We Do & Architectural Services in San Diego

ohms architects is a full-service architecture, design, and research office based in San Diego, California.

We work across scales and disciplines, bringing together diverse methodologies to produce work that is grounded in research, shaped by context, and built to last. Our practice is collaborative by nature, and our process moves fluidly between ideas and execution.

We partner closely with clients who are committed to thoughtful infill development; people who understand that quality design is not a luxury but a standard. They are builders, developers, and owners who care about what they put into the world, and we are selective about who we work with because of it.

We invest in development ourselves. That means we bring the perspective of an owner to every project: an understanding of risk, value, and what it takes to see a building from concept to completion. We are not just designers. We are stakeholders.

Our work spans through a range of scales, from accessory dwelling units and modest additions to large multi-family residential buildings. Every project, regardless of size, receives the same rigor and attention.

Every project begins with a conversation. We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to understand your vision and outline a path forward.

We offer comprehensive architectural services for residential and commercial clients, from the first sketch to the final permit.
